Banffites really embrace the annual celebration of ghouls and ghosts on Halloween, and here is a guide to some of the events happening in Banff & Lake Louise this time of year! We will be updating this page as new events get announced around this hauntingly fun time of year-if you have something spooky you would like us to add, please let us know by emailing email@example.com
FOR THE FAMILY
Spooktacular Trail Rides!
Timberline Tours in Lake Louise has a great option, if you would like to combine Halloween with some horseback riding. From September 21-October 31, you can ride your horse through the Timberline Spooktacular Trail for only $15.

HALLOWEEN BONFIRE & FIREWORKS, OCTOBER 31, BANFF RECREATION GROUNDS
The Town Of Banff and our local firefighters combine to provide a great fireworks show for the whole family. Head down to the Banff ball diamonds at the Rec grounds between 7-9, enjoy some free hotdogs and hot chocolate, warm up by the bonfire and watch the show in the sky! More info here.
Spooky Haunted Walk
For young adults aged 18-30, join BanffLIFE for a full moon hike around a local lake, where we will visit the haunted cabin of Billy Carver, the creepy death swing and more haunts in the dark of Banff National Park! Wednesday, October 30th, 8-10 pm. Details here.
FOR THE OLDER KIDS
Downtown Banff is always a vibrant scene of costumed revelers, touring the bars and clubs and checking out the special events and contests that are everywhere. One of our favourite things is to see what costume local artist, Mark Carroll, comes up with. Here is a look at his ‘Nazgul’ outfit from last year, complete with huge flying monster >>
