Dog Sledding in Lake Louise & Canmore

Dogsled Tours In Lake Louise

It was a beautiful winter’s day to take a guided dog sled trek to check out the Great Divide Tour in Lake Louise, and to hang out with some very cool canines. In the video (above), Real Banff gives you an idea of what it’s like to be mushing around with these amazing animals.

Kingmik Dogsled Tours has terrific and knowledgeable guides that give some fascinating insight into the history of the area. The dogs are very well taken care of, and you can see the love for them. It’s an awesome way to see Banff National Park, and tours run into April.

Dogsled Tours In Canmore

Just east of the gates to Banff National Park, Canmore is also a winter wonderland with some terrific locations to go dogsledding!

Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours

“Many people tell us that they have never experienced  anything quite like this before. They have come for a mere adventure, but they  comment time after time that it was a lot more than just that and to call it a  thrill is not enough. It’s the air, the mountains, the raw beauty, the dog’s  energy, and the physical and mental challenge – all a recipe for a  transformation in the present, and a profound memory for the future.”-Connie Arsenault
