Geocaching In Banff NP! All part of Snow Days, Jan 14-Feb 12!
January 9, 2012

What better way to explore the park than with the high tech game of treasure hunting known as Geocaching!

On January 14 we are launching a six piece geocache circuit as an interactive way to learn more about the heritage of Banff National Park. Test your skill by finding one or all of our geocaches! There are prizes to be claimed from the Visitor Information Centre on the 200 block of Banff Ave for the first 10 people who find all six caches, (photographic evidence of you at each location with the geocache must be provided to claim your prize).

Be one of the first ten people to find all 6 caches and you will win an awesome prize! Full information and GPS coordinates of the caches right here.

All part of the fun at Snow Days in Banff and Lake Louise!

And for more Geocaching fun, Parks Canada has an additional 5 caches in the park! Head over to the Banff Information office (224 Banff Avenue) to pick up your Geocaching Activity Sheet. There are 5 parks caches and if you can locate 3 of them, then report back to the Parks info desk and get your own Geocoin! More info at www.pc.gc.ca
